Support the Fair Tax Plan


Fellow Bloggers, come join the fight to pass the Fair Tax Plan HR25/S25. We need all the support you folks can blog about. For more info, go to <fairtax.org> and <fairtaxscoredard.com>.

Briefly the Fair Tax Plan will repeal all federal taxes of all kinds. These are replaced with a Consumption/Sales Tax of 23% on all goods and sevices only once at the retail level. To protect the low end of our population, there will be a "Prebate" check of the amount of this tax on the basic things of life. The amount will be according to the number of people in the household. The checks will be mailed from the government to arrive on the first of each month. These checks will go to all, rich or poor.  The sale of used goods such as cars would not be taxed.

At the present, Newt Gingrich supports a "Flat Tax". This would still be a Federal Income Tax. If Newt really  wants to run for President, he would have the support of most people. Supporting the Fair Tax  Plan would go a long way for him. Let's make noise in his direction.
